DENTSPLY India was established in 1995 and was the first Western dental concern with a 100% owned subsidiary on the subcontinent. The Company's strength is the broad range of products manufactured and distributed for the Indian market. Substantial market penetration has been achieved with DENTSPLY's world famous brands, including dental prosthetics, restorative material, endodontic instruments and materials, impression materials, ultrasonic scalers, curing lights and lab products. With Sales and Marketing head offices in New Delhi/Noida and reagional sales offices in Mumbai, Pune, Patna, Nagpur, Chennai, Chandigarh, Bangalore and Kolkata, along with a strong distribution network spread across the interior of the country, DENTSPLY India is focussed on success.

After consolidating its operations, Dentsply India embarked on its mission to provide quality Dental education to dentists by bringing them face to face with internationally acclaimed dental practitioners and academicians from various disciplines of dentistry. We consider ourselves as pioneers in widely popularising the practice of “crown down technique” which has not only made RCT simpler but has also helped in increasing the success rate and reducing the number of visits a patient has to make to the dentist.

In the year 2000, Dentsply India commenced its operations in Nepal. Simultaneouly in 2002, Dentsply India launched its lab range of products in areas of fixed as well as removable prosthodontics. In the year 2005, we launched the Implant range with three implant options to offer a still wider range of products and services to the dentists. In 2006 the span of control was expanded to add Sri Lanka as well.
